The problem
Onboarding or offboarding a user meant repeating the same steps in several systems. It was easy for a step to be delayed or for the ticket to end up with an incomplete record.
What I did
- Built a form that client HR managers can submit directly.
- Connected the workflow to Autotask and Microsoft 365 to create the ticket, user account, and contact.
- Added confirmation and welcome emails for the form submitter and the end user.
- Recorded each completed action in the service ticket.
The result
The workflow cut a process that took nearly an hour to about five minutes. Technicians spend less time on routine setup, clients get clearer updates, and the ticket automatically records everything the workflow completed.
